I've finished up the Ethiopians for my DBA Early Achaemenid Persians.
I've listed the steps I followed below.
The ground cover is all dry and finished:
Step 1. A base layer of Woodland Scenics Earth-blend T50. Let dry:
Step 2. I glued down 5 patches of Heki static grass 'Summer' blend. I prefer the use look of an odd number of these patches.
Step 3. Then I glued down 3 patches of Woodland Scenics clump foliage:
Step 4. To finish up, placed a pretty arid looking Warpainter tuft:
