1812 Russians for DBN
Part 2 Cavalry & Command
This post showcases the command and cavalry elements of my 1812 Russian army for DBN.
The army commanders:
CinC Bagration. Minifigs and AB Miniatures.
Raevsky, 7th corps commander. AB Miniatures and Minifigs.
Platov, Cossack commander. AB Miniatures.
The 4th Cavalry Corps.
4th Corps, 2nd Cuirassier Division.
Gluchov and Ekaterinoslav regiments.
AB Miniatures.
These are newly painted figures. I found the AB Miniatures to be well detailed and good to paint. However, attaching the separate riders to the horses was a pain. The riders and their saddles and cloths are moulded together and don't sit well on the horses.
The 4th Cavalry Corps.
4th Cavalry Division. Kiev and Kharkov dragoons.
AB Miniatures.
Newly painted figures. The comments for the AB cuirassiers remain. Great figures but a bit of a pain to fit together.
Kiev Dragoons.
Kharkov dragoons.
The 4th Cavalry Corps, 14th Brigade. Lithuanians Uhlans. Battle Honours.
These Battle Honours uhlans are from my Empire army. I've added highlights and the horses were pretty much complete do-overs.
