1812 Russians for DBN
Part 3 Infantry
Here's the infantry section of my revamped my 1812 Russian army. Again, most of the units are from the Russian 2nd Army West. None of the figures are new, they've been given improved highlights and flags.
The Russian 3rd Corps 1st Grenadier Division.
L-R Pavlovsk, St Petersburg and Leib grenadiers.
I decided to depict them with both their coloured and white flags to differentiate them from the line infantry.
The Platovsk Grenadiers. Minifigs.
St Petersburg Grenadiers. Battle Honours.
All the Line Infantry. Mainly Battle Honours with some Essex Miniatures.
3rd Corps 3rd Division line infantry. Revel and Selenguinsk flags.
The 3rd Corps Russian Opolchenie. These were irregular reservists, many of whom were armed with pikes.
The Moscow Opolchenie - Figures: Battle Honours with AB Miniatures command.
The Smolensk Opelchenie - Figures: Battle Honours with AB Miniatures command.
The 7th Corps, 14th & 26th Division line infantry brigades.
New Ingermanland & Novgorod Regiments
Smolensk & Poltava Regiments
8th Corps 2nd Grenadier Division
Plus 27th Division Converged Grenadiers
Battle Honours with AB command figures.
L-R Converged, Astrakhan and Kiev Grenadiers. I gave the converged grenadiers just a white flag to differentiate them fro the Grenadier and line infantry units.
8th Corps 27th Division
Simbrisk & Vilna Line Regiments
Battle Honours with AB and Essex command figures
I'd love to hear your comments.
