1812 Russians for DBN
Part 1 Army Overview
I've recently revamped my 1812 Russian army. The original army was based for the venerable Empire rules. Now, I've converted the army for De Bellum Napoleonica (DBN). I painted some completely new figures (well, from the lead pile), retouched the rest and gave everything a new base.
It’s around 36 AP strong, or three basic sized armies, which gives me flexibility and the ability to do some larger battles. I've still got a stack of Russian figures left that I'll finish rebasing and probably sell off.
In the pipeline are some enemies in the form of Bavarian (underway but on the back burner), Italian and French, Imperial Guard 12AP armies.
The army is largely based on the Russian 2nd Army West, under the command of Prince Bagration, at the battle of Borodino in 1812.
There are links to the posts for the various sections of the army below.
